…adventures and mishaps in business, marketing, technology, and design.

It ain’t always pretty and the good guys don’t always win.

I launched this blog in January 2008, in a fit of manic creativity, spurred on by some life-changing events. (Divorce, nearly shutting down a business, etc.)

Since then, I’ve written on and off about various topics; design, SEO, marketing strategy, etc.

My favorite posts are the ones where I write like an idiot, and pointing out examples of double-negatives in UI.

I guess I’ve always been attracted to the “what didn’t work” type of lessons written by those who have gone before me. And that’s probably why GUI Bloopers is still my all-time favorite design book.

I enjoy sharing the mishaps that I learn along the way as well. I hope you enjoy them, too!
