Update on New Theme and Business Card Cartoon

BY Editweapon @ April 17, 2008

I hired a rad coder Michael S from 2logicstudios.com on eLance. He’s plugging along on the new theme. It won’t be done tonight, but it’s coming along. You can take a peek .

And look what Chris drew me.

I’m not sure if the "do (do)" part is good or not. Help me decide by voting in the poll:

Which do you prefer for the back of my business card?

I like the design! Clean and simple and easy to read your (mostly) insightful content! ;) I know it’s not finished yet, but I wouldn’t go with that body font… choose something a bit more readable. Don’t want to give peeps a headache, do you? :)

What font do you (mostly) recommend? That one is a bit annoying, eh?

    I don’t get it..

Well shitake…that’s a bad sign Canbebesi. But EXCELLENT feedback.

Which part don’t you get? Do you not get the do-do, potty humor reference?

Or do you not understand what Obedient Software is? If so, that makes sense since you don’t have the context, and those I give my business card to would have context.

Obedient Software LLC is my consulting ocmpany. I help companies lower the learning curve of their software without any degradation to usability. (Well, most of the time it works out that way.)

Hmm…damn me and my two cute names! EditWeapon, my alter-ego / avatar / nickname; and Obedient Software, LLC the company that bills you when you hire me.

    Snap! 3 names…Patrick Sullivan Jr.

Ok, so I’m thinking I put the cartoon on the business card, but then never mention Obedient Software online again. Then I let Patrick Sullivan Jr. = Editweapon, like Brian Clark = Copyblogger, Darren Rowse = Problogger, etc.

Thoughts? (And thanks again for the feedback)

I didn’t get the do-do reference straight off… maybe because I’m English? Do we say that?

ohhh.. “doodoo” (reminds me of an ATHF episode)..
i still don’t understand how doodoo relates to the obedient software thing..

You’re right though I didn’t have the context..
