I am abdcmom and I have won almost 50 purses from this site. Before I placed my first bid I watched the site for a month and discovered who the powerbidders were. I then strategized to see which purses would be easiest to win. I have received all of my purses and all have been in perfect condition. Like anything else, it is best to do some research first before you jump in.

penny purses is really stupid, but i havent bought any bids. plus, all their purses except one that ive seen are ugly! and they get them about half off, or their knockoffs. i think they hire people to bid up the prices, and yes it is curious that the same people always win! i just enjoy watching idiots waste their money because the auctions are pretty entertaining. maybe one day if i have 10 million dollars i’ll blow some of it on this rip off.

Don’t use Swipebids, it is a total scam and you are NOT gonna get a good deal on anything they have. There are people on swipebids that live on the site and have thousands of bids that bring the price up and you can’t win against them. I have tried to get ahold of them for some time now, they have my home phone, nextel number, skype number, email, and still they have not gotten in touch with me. They take your money and if you complain they kick you off so you can’t log in anymore unless you do it all over again, then your proof is gone. They have this rewards program on the site, it works buy how many bids you buy and use, and I was 200 bucks short of getting a computer and they changed the prize so they took all the money I put into it and just laughed at me. I don’t ever get to see it again, I am a stupid fool for trusting this guy. STAY AWAY. WARNING WARNING!!! A GREAT site is letsgobidding.com, its a new company and only a few people know about it so you get great items for a low price. I have bought $295 worth of bids and I have won 7 items including a 700 dollar t.v. I am way ahead and I work with non-profit organizations for animals, so I win at letsgobidding.com and I donate it to the animals so they auction it off and make money.

For any of your readers that want more info, they should have a look at http://www.bestpennyauctions.com – as they appear to give an unbiased overview of most of the popular ‘penny’ and ‘unique bid’ auctions around.

I found it an interesting read, but I have not played on any of the auctions yet )

There is really no deception involved. The concept is brilliant and rather than writing a ridiculous article about it, why don’t you think of a good idea of your own?

Of course they are out to make money. There has got to be a reason why the purses are sold so inexpensively, right? It is a business. Not everyone wins.

I guess that some people like to feel victimized – as if the company made you purchase the bids. Just use your head while you are bidding and you should have no problem winning. Bid recklessly and, yes, you will waste your money.

Oh come on guys wake up. Every business in the world has slogans that are more for marketing than anything else. Just because they say you can win purses for a dollar, doesn’t mean they have to let everybody win for a dollar. You guys are total babies, and honestly if you think that good marketing is a scam, then you are going to have a problem with most every profitable business in the world. EVERY business knows how to market their product. Wal-mart claims to have the lowest prices, well just because I find something cheaper on eBay doesn’t make wal-mart a scam haha. And to whatever idiot said that Vegas is fair and tells you the odds up front are you kidding me? Casinos are designed to trap you, keep you losing money, and keep you coming back for more. Lol!
